While February was a short month, we still managed to pack in some BIG updates to make finding and discovering new spaces faster and easier.
Here’s what’s new.
Help fans find what they need – faster
Are fans struggling to find food, restrooms, or their seats at your stadium? We’ve got you covered.
With Nearby Locations, fans see the closest vendors, concessions, and restroom options first – so they spend less time searching and more time enjoying the event.

Seating Focus Mode displays the seating chart when searching by seating category, making it easier to find seats by mirroring the ticketing site experience.

A fresh look for your maps
We’re all about making indoor maps both functional and beautiful. We’ve made some design updates to keep things clean, consistent, and easy on the eyes.
Location cards now include updated image galleries, making it easier to see exactly where you’re headed before you even start walking towards it.

We’ve standardized how locations are labeled on the map, making sure everything is labeled consistently. Whether a spot is new, a pop up, promoted or temporarily unavailable, you’ll always know what to expect.

Know where you are, get what you need
Our indoor positioning got a serious upgrade to make navigation more accurate, which means search results will be too.
No more second-guessing which way to go. Blue dot now updates with your direction, helping orient yourself instantly. Whether navigating a large venue or trying to find the nearest exit, you’ll always know which way to head.

With better positioning comes better search. Now, when looking for a location, results are prioritized based on what’s nearby. No more scrolling through a long list—just the most relevant places, right where you need them.
More control over your maps
We’re all about giving more flexibility to manage your maps. This month, we rolled out Private Maps that allows you to control access to specific maps with existing security systems (such as SSO), perfect for internal teams or restricted areas.
Take your maps further with Microsoft Places
Export your maps to Microsoft Places IMDF format to unlock new possibilities—enhance office navigation, optimize space management, and integrate seamlessly with Microsoft tools. Ready to get started? Check out our guide.

We’re always working to make indoor maps smoother, smarter, and (dare we say) delightful. Got feedback? We’d love to hear it! Drop us a note, and let us know what you think of these updates—or what you’d love to see next.
Until next time, happy mapping! 🗺️✨
